Intentionally Navigating Your Personal Wellness, Stress, and Relationships

Greenville NC Therapist

Offering In-Person and Virtual Appointments

Life moves fast. Increased pressures, stress, and distractions can take you away from living and relating with intention. You feel pulled in multiple directions, often robbing you of the gifts of time and connection with loved ones. You feel stressed, anxious, unable to sleep well, and isolated. You are meant for more.

Service Areas

My goal is to help individuals and couples reconnect with their core values, heal from emotional wounds, find a deeper sense of worth and belonging, and build meaningful, intentional relationships. Through compassionate and grounded support, I guide clients in quieting anxiety, relieving stress, strengthening trust and attachment, and cultivating a sense of inner peace and belonging.

Relationship and

Couple Therapy

My approach to couples therapy focuses on building a secure and supportive connection within the relationship, while also exploring each partner’s attachment history to better understand how it influences their dynamic today.

Personal Wellness

Chronic stress doesn’t just affect your mood; it can take a real toll on your physical health, relationships, and overall sense of well-being. In our work together, I’ll help you recognize how stress shows up in your life and build practical tools to manage it.

Family Therapy

Family therapy creates space for open communication and helps each member understand one another’s perspective. Together, we’ll build healthier ways to talk, reduce conflict, and address challenges like parenting differences, long-standing hurts, and sibling challenges.

Anxiety and Stress Management

You will learn to manage anxious symptoms, and reframe anxiety as a potential source of strength, and build effective coping strategies—both on your own and within your relationships—to support long-term well-being.

Meet Lisa Tyndall

Greenville NC Therapist

A sense of belonging and family has always been important to me. Growing up, I often lacked that sense of belonging and tried to understand life on my own. I've also dealt with anxiety, experiencing symptoms like tightness in my chest, an upset stomach, and a racing heartbeat, which distracted me and threatened my peace during precious family time.

These challenges have guided me toward my passion for helping people find their sense of belonging, their peace and worth, and foster healthy relationships. Today's world makes being still and finding these things increasingly difficult, but it is possible.

Whatever is tugging at you, it is a gift to sit together and help sort through whatever prevents you from feeling a sense of belonging and connection within yourself and within your relationships.

"I Felt Deeply Respected..."

"Dr. Tyndall was a caring, supportive counselor who quickly picked up on my personality, quirks and all. She was excellent at asking me questions that made me think about something I didn’t even realize I needed to address. I appreciated at one point during our sessions when she described some physiological changes related to stress and showed me a type of heart monitor that could help me monitor physical changes I was experiencing due to stress.

Dr. Tyndall was easy to talk with and it was always obvious she was listening to me and I felt deeply respected while I was her patient. She will be the counselor I contact should I ever need her services again."

Single-Session to Brief Therapy

If you are looking for more of a brief therapy encounter or perhaps a couple of sessions to gain some additional insight, you have come to the right place. Commonly, people think therapy has to be a big, long-term commitment (years on a couch for example) —but that’s often not true.

Depending on the situation, even one session (or just a few) can make a big difference. Let’s chat and see if brief therapy could help you feel more grounded and understood.

From My Clients

- P.M.

I began seeing Lisa Tyndall in the fall of 2024 during a very difficult time period. Our interaction was positive immediately. Lisa listened and guided me with thoughtful suggestions and comments that made me study and analyze my situation in more deep and thoughtful ways. She is a gifted and kind therapist and guided me through an upsetting time period. Thank you, Lisa.

- G.M.

Lisa has been a great therapist for me. She helps me with new perspectives and also with accountability. She meets me where I’m at, she is able to stick with me, even when I ramble. I appreciate her openness to trying things with me. For example, she participated with me in a family of origin ritual that I wanted to do, and has also done some guided visualizations with me. I am so happy to have found her. She has been a great therapist for me.

AAMFT Approved Supervisor

My approach to supervision comes primarily from a Narrative perspective. I work with supervisees to find and strengthen their clinical lens. I am able to provide supervision with limited in person hours in Greenville, NC or remotely on a secure video platform. Please email me for additional information.
